SUMMARY FOR ALL TENDERS
1. The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar through Zanzibar Water Authority during the financial year of 2020/21 intends that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contracts for which this invitation for tender is issued.
2. The Zanzibar Water Authority now invite sealed tenders from eligible National and International Tenderers for Supplying of various tenders for the year 2020/2021 under the contracts for which this invitation is issued.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified public procurement and disposal of public assets act no. 11 of 2016 and are open to all tenderers.
4. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information at the procurement office of Zanzibar Water Authority, head office Malawi Road, Msikiti Mabuluu, P.O Box 460, Zanzibar, Email: zawapdmu@gmail.com from 7:30am to 3:30pm EAT on Monday to Friday except public holidays.
5. Each Tender in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked for correct description of the tender must be physically delivered to the Procurement Office of Zanzibar Water Authority, Malawi Road, Msikiti Mabuluu, P. O Box 460, Zanzibar, Tanzania, on or before 10:00AM 13th January 2020. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Supplier’s representatives who choose to attend in the opening.
6. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the above address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One hundred thousand only (TZS. 100,000/=).
7. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender security in an acceptable form of bank guarantee in the amount of two percent (2%).
8. Late Tender, portion of tender, electronic tender, tender not received, tender not opened at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
